In Native American traditions of the Southwest, coral jewelry serves as a powerful symbol of wealth, high status, and protection. Introduced by Spanish traders in the 1600s, deep red Mediterranean coral—often called “red gold”— was adopted by Navajo (Diné), Zuni, Hopi, and Pueblo artists for sacred, economic, and aesthetic purposes. This is a P Jones, 1:1 coral cuff bracelet featuring over 70 natural Mediterranean coral stones. It weighs approximately 30.5 grams and is primarily constructed out of hallmarked sterling silver (92.5% pure silver; “.925”). The cuff is fully adjustable to most wrist sizes, however, if you opt to let us know your size, we can certainly adjust the bracelet for you prior to shipping. The bracelet was handcrafted prior to the 1970s and is considered in excellent vintage condition.
